  • Futuristic Tactical Fusion
Merging the piercing power of Japanese Tanto tips, the multi-faceted sci-fi lines of stealth fighters, the bold angular folds of modern industrial architecture, and the structural elegance of origami—sculpting a next-level EDC folding knife with sharp, dynamic planes.
  • Ultra‑Thin Design
Compared to similarly sized titanium folders, the TIRAN’s handle is 15% thinner and its total weight 10% lighter, with a more compact frame and evenly balanced mass—resulting in a sleeker profile, superior grip comfort, and fatigue‑free all‑day carry.
  • ZDP-189 Blade with DLC Coating
Crafted from powdered-metallurgy ZDP-189 with 3% carbon and 20% chromium for a Rockwell hardness of Rc 64–66 and ultra-fine grain structure for outstanding wear and corrosion resistance. Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) finish further reduces friction and repels moisture, keeping the edge razor-sharp and long-lasting.
  • Grade 5 Titanium Handle with Black Ti Coating:
Machined from aerospace-grade Grade 5 Ti-alloy for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The black titanium coating provides a durable, scratch-resistant, and corrosion-proof surface, delivering a stealth matte finish that’s as tactile as it is visually striking.
  • Optimized Reverse Tanto Blade
The refined Reverse Tanto profile delivers a continuous, robust edge geometry that balances deep‑piercing performance with smooth, efficient slicing—expanding your cutting envelope for outdoor tasks, package opening, and emergency self‑rescue.
  • Button‑lock and Thumb‑stud Open
Featuring both a secure button‑lock mechanism and a responsive thumb‑stud opener, the TIRAN enables fast one‑handed deployment and closure—delivering maximum safety without sacrificing convenience.
  • Ambidextrous Dual‑Sided Titanium Alloy Pocket Clip
Easily switch the robust titanium clip between left/right and tip‑up/tip‑down positions, providing comfortable, secure carry for both left‑ and right‑handed users.
  • Integrated Lanyard Hole
Built into the handle’s base, the dedicated lanyard hole lets you attach paracord, keychains, or decorative charms—enabling personalized carry styles tailored to your habits and environments.

I have 100+ knives to choose from and until 2 weeks ago carried a different one or even 2 every day . The Tiran is so thin and light I've carried it every day since I got it . I like it so much I bought 2 . It's not a Katsu or Rockstead but it's also much less expensive

The Tiran is high quality precision knife making at its best. It’s a very, very nice knife. The action is silky, smooth and snappy. At three ounces It’s light for a three and a half inch bladed knife although it does have a nice hefty feel to it. The Tiran cuts like a dream. It’s a great slicing knife whether you’re cutting boxes in the shop or food in the kitchen.
I have a different knife in ZDP-189 that is HRC 63. This knife is a good bit harder. This is easy to see when you sharpen it, as it requires more time to sharpen and you can “feel” the extra hardness of it.
For people like myself who enjoy disassembling and cleaning your knives take note. This knife is made with close tolerances and requires patience and skill to reassemble. If you don’t get everything lined up just right, it won’t go back together! Myself, the next time I clean it I’ll just use alcohol, blow it out and oil it.
Get yourself a Tiran and enjoy quality that elsewhere costs twice the price, or more!

Very well put together. Thin yet rigid knife with a comfortable grip & smooth action.
